About this position:
Stereo D is looking for an Editor to join the Burbank Editorial team. The chosen candidate will report directly to the VP of Post Production/ Editorial Supervisor, and will have the following responsibilities:
 
Responsibilities Include:
 
As an Editor, you will be part of a larger editorial team based in Burbank, CA, responsible for conforming shots (2D/3D) on some of Hollywood’s top block-busters.  Participating in daily session in studio and completing multiple deliveries.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Highly proficient with Avid Media Composer or Final Cut Pro (4 years’ experience minimum)
  • In depth knowledge of file-based workflows (conform/assembly)
  • Solid understanding of EDL management
  • Experience with Quantel products a bonus
  • Genuine interest in stereo filmmaking and the production/post process
  • Must be detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-directed, with ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must be resourceful, able to adapt to new situations, and to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
