About this position:

System’s Integrators at Stereo D reports to the Manager of Technology, with responsibilities of identifying opportunities for developing deeper integrations and increasing efficiencies between our infrastructure and the tools used to support our operations, planning and execution of the projects, as well as taking point with furthering our DevOp’s and infrastructure orchestration capabilities.
 
Responsibilities Include
  • Management and continued development of SaltStack
  • Continued development of standardized RESTful API’s to expose beneficial functionality to other departments and projects
  • Identifying bottlenecks or areas of opportunity to reduce redundant requests or issues
  • Ongoing development of tools for support staff to better cater to productions needs
  • Directly involved with global infrastructure endeavours, working with remote teams to complete tasks and projects
  • Primary point of contact for support of, and access to data sources such as databases (MongoDB/MariaDB primarily)
  • Help ensure key systems and infrastructure are maintained and operating appropriately
  • Assist systems administration/architecture staff where necessary and other duties as assigned by Manager
 
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in a systems related field
  • Must be familiar with RedHat/CentOS, VMware ESXi/Horizon/vRealize, Windows Server 2016
  • Experience managing MongoDB and Mysql/MariaDB Databases
  • Experience with Python, NodeJS, and PowerShell
  • Must have working knowledge of a platform such as Salt, Puppet, Chef, or another similar product
  • OpenStack experience a plus
  • Very comfortable managing and configuring both Linux and Windows environments
  • Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines
  • Able to efficiently troubleshoot complex and difficult problems
  • Creative, willing to learn, and not adverse to trying new approaches to difficult problems
